Kilshaw in call for town’s backing

Rochdale Observer - - TRAVEL -

WITH pre-season training around the corner, head coach Alan Kilshaw has issued a rallying cry to the Hornets supports to back the team in 2018.

“The town of Rochdale should get behind this team. It is a working class team for a working class town,” he said. “We reflect what Rochdale is about with hardworking people who earn everything they get. This team isn’t backed with huge resources but what it lacks in luxuries it makes up for with spirit and pride in representing the people of Rochdale

“Pre-season is tough on players but they always approach it with 100 per cent commitment. It means late nights, early Saturday mornings, time away from families and pushing their bodies to the limits to be conditioned ready to take to the field for you guys.

“Match this group’s pride and commitment by purchasing your season tickets now and pledging your support for 2018. A club is only as good as it’s members and you showed last year that ours are the best around. Back the team in 2018 and cheer us to victory at the Crown Oil Arena.”

Hornets 2018 season tickets are the cheapest in the competition, starting from just £150 which includes a Challenge Cup Final ticket (RRP £20).
