Dale fans turn wall into won­der­land

DOZENS of green­fin­gered Dale fans planted hun­dreds of pan­sies and prim­roses at the Crown Oil Arena this week.

Vol­un­teers helped cre­ate a win­ter won­der wall fea­ture along Sandy Lane.

It fol­lows the suc­cess of the orig­i­nal won­der wall planted in the sum­mer.

The fea­ture has trans­formed the Spot­land area and won two awards at the North West In Bloom com­pe­ti­tion in­clud­ing top marks for the It’s Your Neigh­bour­hood award and Best New Rochdale in Bloom 2017 Fea­ture.
