CASES heard at Burnley Magistrate­s Court:

CHRISTOPHE­R Gallimore, 41, of Woodcroft Avenue, Reedsholme, pleaded guilty to drink driving. He was given a 20-week community order with a curfew requiremen­t, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualifi­ed from driving for 29 months, reduced by 29 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.

SIMON Riley, 30, of Rochdale Road, Bacup, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the requiremen­ts of a community order. He was given a new 12-month community order with 115 hours’ unpaid work and ordered to pay £60 costs.

JAMES Robert Irwin, 29, of Bury Road, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to criminal damage. He was given a six-month conditiona­l discharge and ordered to pay £30 compensati­on and £85 costs.

LUKE Daniel Donoghue, 25, of Market Street, Bacup, pleaded guilty to using threatenin­g, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and possessing cannabis. He was given a six-week community order with a curfew requiremen­t and ordered to pay £85 costs.

WAYNE Robert Catterall, 33, of Elm Road, Little Lever, Bolton, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Haslingden. He was fined £180, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualifi­ed from driving for 18 months, reduced by 18 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.

JOSEPH James Barker, 23, of Brandwood Road, Stackstead­s, pleaded guilty to trespass with intent to steal. He was given a 20-week jail sentence, suspended for 12 months, with a supervisio­n requiremen­t, 40 hours’ unpaid work, and ordered to pay £85 costs.

KALVIN Lee Elcock, 20, of Langwood Court, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to three counts of fraud. He was given a 12-month community order with a 36-hour attendance centre requiremen­t and ordered to pay £1,395 compensati­on.

JOSH Robert Grogan, 22, of Derwent Avenue, Burnley, pleaded guilty to dishonestl­y undertakin­g or assisting in the retention, removal, disposal or realisatio­n of stolen goods in Rossendale, using a car without insurance and driving without a licence. He was given a 12-month community order with a 36-hour attendance centre requiremen­t, ordered to pay £85 costs, fined £120 and given six points on his driving licence. RYAN Archer, 25, of Sunnybank Street, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to drink-driving. He was fined £80, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualifi­ed from driving for 12 months, reduced by 13 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.

DAMIEN Aron Taylor, 33, of Spring Terrace, Bacup, pleaded guilty to shopliftin­g. He was given a six-month conditiona­l discharge.

DAVID Kelly, 56, of no fixed abode, was found guilty of fraud. He was given a 12-month conditiona­l discharge order.

COLLIN Ellis, 45, of Rochdale Road, Ramsbottom, was found guilty of two counts of being the parent of a child of compulsory school age who failed to attend school regularly. He was given a sixmonth conditiona­l and ordered to pay £25 costs.

PAULINA Victoria Ellis, 39, of Rochdale Road, Ramsbottom, was found guilty of two counts of being the parent of a child of compulsory school age who failed to attend school regularly. She was given a six-month conditiona­l and ordered to pay £25 costs.

CLAIRE Waldron, 27, of Rosewood Avenue, Haslingden, was found guilty in her absence of being the parent of a child of compulsory school age who failed to attend school regularly. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £100 costs.
