A GYM is celebrating its one-year anniversary with a special event for new and existing members.

Fit4life Health and Fitness, on Blackburn Road, Rising Bridge will be hosting an open day on Saturday, September 16 with special events and classes for new and existing members.

Club manager Luke Hamer said: “We’re celebrating our first year of being open with a special day.

“We’re going to have loads of extra classes and events - like our new Les Mills classes that will be on in the studio.”

Alongside the classes, Luke is planning to have special entertainment like dancers and singers with food and drink available too.

Luke says the club has made good progress since opening and, to celebrate, there will be special-edition merchandise, including hoodies and T-shirts.

He said: “We’re doing really well and we’re exactly where we want to be.

“In fact, I’ve just hired a new member of staff.” ●● Fit4life owner, Luke Hamer, with assistant manager Nikoli Evangelista

He said the variety of facilities on offer means there is something for everyone, adding: “Members can use our functional rig, our studio, fitness classes and equipment as well as our experienced coaches.”
