POLICE were called after four cars collided in Waterfoot.

Officers responded to reports of a crash at around 9.30am on Monday on Bacup Road, near to Rossendale Police Station.

A grey Renault Clio, black Peugeot 208, red Nissan Juke and red Skoda Fabia were involved in what Lancashire Police described as a ‘four-vehicle shunt’.

There were no injuries reported in the crash, on January 8, and the road was cleared by 11am.
