A BUDDING illustrator is hoping to make her mark on the design world after unveiling her first major commission.

Ellie Garner, from Ramsbottom, has come a long way since drawing on her own bedroom walls for fun – now people pay her to draw on theirs.

She has revealed her stunning designs, which feature on the walls of the Evolve beauty salon in Edenfield.

The 25-year-old, who lives on Rochdale Road, says that friends asked her to draw designs on their walls after seeing her handiwork.

Ellie said: “All of a sudden, my inbox went mad – but I’m really enjoying it.

“What started as a labour of love has become an addiction and has led me to work with an extensive list of clients.

“I do canvasses for people, not just walls - I can draw on anything!

Creativity runs in Ellie’s family as her sister, Hayley Garner, is one half of a well-known graffiti-artist duo, Nomad Clan.

She says that she is looking forward to working in more offices and businesses soon.

She added: “It took about three days non-stop to finish the work in the salon.

“Once I start, I can’t stop - I really enjoy it.”
