CROWDS went quackers for this year’s annual Ramsbottom duck race, run alongside the 1940s weekend.

More than 100 ducks were on show at the Giant Duck Race and MP James Frith judged the entries and started the race.

Organisers Ramsbottom Rotary Club said the Kiddies Boat Race was also ‘extremely popular’.

The races were held at Bridge Street Gardens and included stalls and rides for children and a pop-up bar. All proceeds are going to charity.
