CASES heard at Burn­ley Mag­is­trates Court:

MARTIN Thomp­son, 36, of Her­bert Street, Stack­steads, was found guilty of fail­ing to give in­for­ma­tion re­lat­ing to the iden­ti­fi­ca­tion of a driver to po­lice. He was fined £180, ordered to pay £85 costs and given six points on his driv­ing li­cence.

CHRIS Old­field, 24, of East­field Road, Nor­ton, Mal­ton, pleaded guilty to drink-driv­ing in Hasling­den. He was fined £346, ordered to pay £85 costs and dis­qual­i­fied from driv­ing for 12 months, re­duced by 13 weeks if he com­pletes a course ap­proved by the Sec­re­tary of State.

ADAM Brad­bury, 26, of Water­barn Lane, Bacup, pleaded guilty to us­ing threat­en­ing, asub­sive or in­sult­ing words or be­hav­iour or dis­or­derly be­hav­iour. He was fined £615 and ordered to pay £85 costs.

JOSEPH Ri­ley, 22, of Spod­den Cot­tages, Whit­worth, pleaded guilty to drink-driv­ing. He was fined £423, ordered to pay £85 costs and dis­qual­i­fied from driv­ing for 23 months, re­duced by 23 weeks if he com­pletes a course ap­proved by the Sec­re­tary of State. CASES heard at Black­burn Mag­is­trates Court:

WAYNE Dolan, 43, of Roundtree House, Old­ham, pleaded guilty to two counts of shoplift­ing in Bacup, hav­ing ar­ti­cles for use in the course of or in con­nec­tion with a theft in Rawten­stall and us­ing a car with­out in­sur­ance. He was jailed for 15 weeks and dis­qual­i­fied from driv­ing for 12 months.
