Rammy aim for cup semi

CRICKET SHELDAN KEAY RAMS­BOT­TOM will be hop­ing to progress into the last four of the Wors­ley Cup this week­end.

The team make the trip to Cen­tre Vale to take on Tod­mor­den.

Other quar­ter-fi­nal matches see Cromp­ton take on Dar­wen, Nor­den host Low­er­house, while Rish­ton are home to Burn­ley.

It’s a busy week­end for Rams­bot­tom, as they are also in T20 ac­tion on Fri­day when they head to Wood­house Lane to take on Nor­den. Their Lan­cashire League match on Sunday then sees them head to Red­brook to take on Rochdale.

Other T20 matches tak­ing place on Fri­day sees a clash be­tween lo­cal ri­vals BACUP and HASLING­DEN, while RAWTEN­STALL host Mid­dle­ton.

In the Lan­cashire League, Bacup head to Dill Hall Lane to face En­field, Rawten­stall are at home on Sunday tak­ing on Tod­mor­den, while Hasling­den wel­come Ac­cring­ton.

Church take on Lit­tle­bor­ough at Black­burn Road. Dar­wen face Burn­ley at Birch Hall. East Lan­cashire head to Liver­pool Road to face Low­er­house. Mid­dle­ton face Cromp­ton at Town­croft. Clitheroe face Mil­nrow at Lady­house. Nel­son go up against Great Har­wood at Seed­hill, while Rish­ton take on Colne at Black­burn Road. The fi­nal league match is a clash be­tween Wals­den and Nor­den at Scott Street.
