I was very in­ter­ested to see amongst ‘The his­tory of the Army v Navy’ item (May is­sue) the men­tion of Lt Nim Hall as be­ing cap­tain of Eng­land in 1955. At that time I was work­ing for a Marine Un­der­writer in the City of London. Nim Hall

was a bro­ker and of­ten called on my boss.
