Fair for furry friends

-

STAFF from Dogs Trust West London in Harefield joined Ealing Animal Charities Fair.

Now in its 40th year, the fair is a showcase for animal welfare charities where the public and local politicians can speak to the charity stallholders and learn more about animal issues.

Around 40 animal welfare charities had stalls at the event at Hanwell Methodist Church on Saturday March 3.

Harefield Rehoming Centre’s supporter relations officer Irene Anidjah said: “To meet so many organisations who are so passionate about animal welfare, all under one roof was very special – in particular Dogs Trust would like to thank Mayor Cllr Simon Woodroofe and Mayoress of Ealing, Mrs Valerie Woodroofe for taking the time to lend their support and learn more about what we do.”

Mayor of Ealing, Councillor Simon Woodroofe added: “I have a lot of time for Dogs Trust and really enjoyed speaking with the staff on their stall about the latest goings-on.

“I’d encourage anyone looking for a four-legged addition to their family to head over to Harefield. A friend and my parents-in-law have both adopted dogs from Dogs Trust.”
