COMEDY performer Joe Pasquale burst onto television screens 30 years ago on ITV talent show New Faces.

Now he’s planning to tour the country from August to celebrate his 30th anniversar­y with stand-up show Joe Pasquale: A Few Of His Favourite Things.

It follows a UK tour of the stage version of BBC hit comedy Some Mother’s Do ‘Ave ‘Em.

MARTINE McCUTCHEON and David Essex are to appear in a Christmas UK tour of hit West End and Broadway musical Elf.

The show, based on the Hollywood comedy film starring Will Ferrell, is to be supersized into a festive spectacula­r for the holidays. David Essex will play Elf’s father Walter and Love Actually’s Martine McCutcheon will play Buddy’s girlfriend, Jovie.

PEAKY BLINDERS actor Paul Anderson (Arthur Shelby) is to make his West End debut in a new adaptation of Moliere’s Tartuffe.

He will play the title role in the classic comedy which re-imagines Tartuffe as a radical American evangelist who uproots the life of a French film tycoon in Hollywood.

The production runs at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from May 25.
