Nick gets Yuck off to a good start
YUCK INDIE are back at The Trinity in Harrow on Saturday with a superb array of entertaining acts for just £5 entry fee.
The line-up includes Latenight Honeymoon, who have a funky indie disco feel akin to the Ladyhawke sound with extra conga rhythms.
Up next are the four-piece known as Pet Hates who have very upbeat and jangly, yet raw and psychedelic, vibe producing a Bloc Party meets The Police via The Cure sound.
Hidden Palace are a four piece band from Watford with interesting arrangements in the Biffy Clyro vein, but with added vocal harmony against a more atmospheric backdrop of sound.
The evening kicks off, however, with the unique singer/songwriting talents of Nick Byrne from Marlow.
The live music starts at around 7pm and you can enjoy the DJ-ing talents of Steven Anderson-Howard before, during and after the bands with old and new tunes from artists such as Joy Division, The Strokes, Human League, Blossoms, Florence and the Machine, The Vaccines and much, much more.
