Care provider is new college partner

-

● A PARTNERSHIP has been announced between a Halton college and a care provider.

To celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, Alternative Futures Group (AFG) joined forces with Riverside College.

The firm offers care services to those with learning disabilities, mental health autism, complex care, dementia, physical disabilities, substance misuse and people in transition.

It employs more than 3,000 staff and supports around 1,200 people across the North West.

After a rigorous selection process, AFG selected Riverside College as their training partner due to the college’s reputation of supporting employers in the care sector, apprenticeship success and shared values of continuous improvement and inclusiveness.

Riverside’s head of skills and enterprise, Jayne Smith, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be working with an outstanding care provider who recognises the benefit of apprenticeships to support staff development and continuous improvement.

“For us the start of this partnership is a wonderful way to celebrate National Apprenticeships Week and we are excited now to start working with the team at AFG to support their vision for the future.”

AFG chief executive, Neil Campbell, added: “Alternative Futures Group is excited about entering a transformative partnership with Riverside College which will drive inspiring learning and development opportunities, benefiting the people we support in the process.”
