THE Funeral of Colin Wood, who passed away peacefully, after a short illness in Halton Haven Hospice, aged 62, took place on Monday, February 13, at Walton Lea Crematoriu­m. The service was conducted by Mr Allan McIntyre.

Colin is survived by his wife Susan, sons Daniel and Robert; and grandchild­ren Nathan, Jessica and William.

Colin started work at the age of 15 at ICI. He retired from the Salt Works in 1995. His hobbies included fishing, walking his dog Sam and holidays.
