Cheshire O-50s lose

IN their first National Over-50s championship match against Northumberland at Allendale on Wednesday last week, Cheshire lost by seven wickets.

Widnes’s Phil Catterall made 28 alongside Garry Cash’s 71 as Cheshire posted 205-9.

Northumberland then cruised their way to a match-winning 209-4.
