Profits to be seized
A DATE has been set for a bid to seize criminal cash from two Runcorn heroin and crack dealers.
Gary Kenton, 31, previously of Ash Road, Litherland, Merseyside, and Jonathan Mason, 24, of Castle Rise, are now due to face a Proceeds Of Crime Act (POCA) hearing on October 6.
The matter was arranged during a short hearing at Chester Crown Court on Friday, August 25.
Kenton and Mason were jailed in April after a DNA test matched Mason to crack seized from a drug user after police watched a deal taking place on Boston Avenue on February 24, 2016.
Further investigations including phone evidence linked Kenton to Mason and a network of dealers.
Police seized 49 wraps of heroin and one of crack cocaine from Mason’s home.
Kenton was sentenced to five years and five months in prison and Mason received three years.
