MAN MUST NOT CONTACT WOMAN

A COURT has imposed a community order and restraining order on a Runcorn man for assault.

David Robert Cannon, 59, of Rose Close, Murdishaw, pleaded guilty to two offences in relation to the same victim.

Cannon has until February 29, 2020, to comply with the order, which requires him to complete a 30-day accredited better relationships programme. He is also barred from directly contacting his victim or entering her street address. The restraining order is in place until February 29, 2020.

The defendant must also pay £210 costs and surcharge.
