● THE fu­neral of Mrs Lynn Sarah Robin­son, of Iona Cres­cent, Widnes has taken place – her death hav­ing oc­curred on Fe­bru­ary 16 at Whis­ton Hospi­tal, aged 59.

A ser­vice was held on March 8 at St Bede’s Widnes, fol­lowed by cre­mata­tion at Widnes Cre­ma­to­rium and was of­fi­ci­ated by Fa­ther Michael Fitzsi­mons.

Lynn was the daugh­ter of the late Bill and Sally Gro­gan and was a re­tired Com­mu­nity Care Worker.

She was mar­ried to Brian Robin­son for 39 years with a daugh­ter Kate and two grand­chil­dren Finn­ley, five, and Reya, one.

Lynn was pas­sion­ate about wildlife and an­i­mals in gen­eral.

She was sen­si­tive to home­less and al­ways gave to them.

She loved to travel and see dif­fer­ent cul­tures and loved North­ern Soul and was an amaz­ing dancer.

Fam­ily flow­ers only, over­whelm­ing amount of sym­pa­thy cards and dona­tions of £400 which Brian has pre­sented to The Don­key Sanc­tu­ary, which was Lynn’s favourite char­ity.
