When you’re choos­ing dairy, fat’s the way to do it

Run­ners of­ten reach for low-fat op­tions when choos­ing

dairy, but new re­search2 sug­gests full-fat could be bet­ter for your health and waist­line. In the study, women who ate more full-fat dairy gained less weight over 11-years than those who opted for low-fat al­ter­na­tives. And re­search from Lund Uni­ver­sity in Swe­den has found a higher full-fat dairy in­take was as­so­ci­ated with a lower risk of type 2 di­a­betes.
