Running is full of the wrong attitude – it’s all about times, lap paces and positions. I am a 43-year-old single parent and fell runner who has been diagnosed with a lifechanging illness. At the moment I’m just grateful to have the pleasure of being able to move forward in the fresh air. I wish other runners would value these simple pleasures.
