So-called ‘yo-yo di­et­ing’ could be bad for your heart, says a new study. 2 Re­searchers found women who were not gen­er­ally over­weight but whose weight fluc­tu­ated had a higher risk of heart at­tack com­pared with women with a sta­ble weight. They’re not sure why, but ear­lier stud­ies have found yo-yo di­et­ing can re­sult in higher blood pressure and choles­terol lev­els.
