Re­search says phys­i­cally ac­tive peo­ple are hap­pier than those who are more seden­tary. But a new study has found that even in the mo­ment of ex­er­cise, peo­ple rate them­selves as hap­pier and that the fre­quency of ac­tiv­ity is also re­lated to feel­ings of well-be­ing. The re­searchers, from the Univer­sity of Cam­bridge, an­a­lysed data from over 10,000 peo­ple. To come up with their re­sults they used self-re­port­ing and a smart­phone app that mon­i­tored move­ment.
