HIP RUNNER

Runner's World (UK) - - Human Race -

Last year I had my hip replaced. I can't run marathons any more but I aim to run trails over shorter distances. Running will mean the hip will have to be replaced sooner, but an informed article on the pros and cons, including exercises to build up strength and supporting muscles would, I’m sure, be of interest to many of your readers. Elaine Cowsill, Trowbridge, Wiltshire

Jenny had a lucky escape at a half marathon.
