THE EASY WAY TO BOOST MOTIVATION
One sure way to stay motivated is to make a habit of rewarding yourself postrun. When your resolve weakens – such as when you’re tired or stressed, and anything seems more appealing than running – willpower can break down and the promise of a reward might be the only thing getting you out the door. So, every time you come in from a run, have a small piece of dark chocolate, a relaxing bath or another treat of your choosing so that your brain associates exercise with gratification. The little things matter.
