I read your Big Debate (RW, May) on whether race entries are becoming too expensive while I was flying home from possibly the best-value half marathon in Europe. The Semi-Marathon Des 2 Luxembourg is a trail race on a stunning route. It’s chip timed, well organised and well marshalled. The cost? Five euros and 50 cents. The organisers should be commended for putting on such a great event so cheaply.
Kit’s enjoyment of Sam Murphy's column was off the scale
Why is Nigel smiling? Because he’s running and because race entry was incredibly cheap
