Other sports can’t keep up with run­ning

Run­ners live an av­er­age of three years longer than non-run­ners, and have a 30 per cent lower risk of all-cause mor­tal­ity than in­ac­tive peo­ple, shows the re­search (ex­er­cis­ers who meet the quota with non-run­ning ac­tiv­i­ties have a 12 per cent lower risk).
