This men­strual cy­cle­track­ing app aims to help ac­tive women adapt their ex­er­cise and nu­tri­tion to the time of the month. Fitr­woman (fitr­, free, IOS only) of­fers daily train­ing ad­vice – and work­out and recipe sug­ges­tions – tai­lored to suit the hor­monal sta­tus as­so­ciated with each phase of your cy­cle. For ex­am­ple, our tester learned when her ca­pac­ity for high­in­ten­sity in­ter­val train­ing was likely to be great­est and when to fo­cus on iron in­take. The app also lets you look ahead to plan ex­er­cise and nu­tri­tion in later weeks.
