Enjoy an evening of laughs and chaos

Rutherglen Reformer - - Culture Corner -

Rutherglen Rep will bring their new play to Rutherglen Town Hall on September 5 and 6.

My Friend Miss Flint is a chaotic comedy with mistaken identity.

It’s an unexpected start to the day for Tom Lambert as he wakes up to find he is sharing his flat with a stranger, market researcher Lucy.

The day becomes more bizarre when Tom, a botanist and TV gardening personality, receives a call from the Inland Revenue enquiring about a large amount of unpaid tax and another call from his public relations consultant Miss Joanna Flint, which is the first time he has heard of the lady.

And while Tom’s at the top of his tree as a successful TV horticulturalist, when it comes to managing his cash, it is ex-wife and accountant Sarah who gets her hands dirty.

Okay, it wasn’t the perfect marriage, but it’s still the perfect business partnership - until Miss Flint gets involved. When you add in Albert, Tom’s help and odd job man the stage is set for an evening of laughs and chaos.

Tickets are priced at £7 or £6 for concessions.
