Holiday club that was ‘Fit for a King’

Rutherglen Reformer - - News From The Pews -

Cambuslang Parish Church was Fit for a King last week.

They were taking part in the national church holiday club scheme, which was created by Scripture Union.

This gave youngsters the chance to come together and have fun over the course of a week.

The five- day holiday club programme was created to tie in with the Commonwealth Games and the Bible.

There was a theme song alongside daily aerobics and crazy Commonwealth Games that were staged each day. There was also a five-day drama series called Party at the Palace, based around Jesus’ parable of the wedding banquet, but with some very Scottish characters.
