Fernhill West of Scot­land Hous­ing and Res­i­dents Group held a suc­cess­ful an­nual gala day.

There was plenty of fun on of­fer for the en­tire com­mu­nity, in­clud­ing a free bouncy cas­tle and face­paint­ing for the kids.

Mu­sic and food from dif­fer­ent Com­mon­wealth coun­tries was on of­fer, along with fair­ground rides, home­bak­ing, raf­fles and com­pe­ti­tions while the Boo­gie Bus paid a visit.

The event was sup­ported by a grant from Cel­e­brate: Big Lot­tery Fund, which was cel­e­brat­ing the 2014 Com­mon­wealth Games through arts, sports and com­mu­nity cel­e­bra­tions.

The event, took place at the Fernhill Com­mu­nity Cen­tre.
