En­joy a FREE fam­ily day

Res­i­dents in Castlemilk and be­yond are be­ing in­vited to join in a range of out­door ac­tiv­i­ties in­clud­ing for­ag­ing walks, sto­ry­telling, face-paint­ing and wood­land crafts, at a wood­land dis­cov­ery day at Com­mon­wealth Wood, Castlemilk this Sun­day (Au­gust 31).

This free, fam­ily day is be­ing hosted by In­ter­faith Glas­gow and aims to bring peo­ple from all faiths and ar­eas of the lo­cal com­mu­nity to­gether to cel­e­brate na­ture, en­joy a wide range of ac­tiv­i­ties and have fun out­doors.

Along­side guided walks on for­ag­ing, bow and ar­row mak­ing, face-paint­ing, sto­ry­telling and mu­si­cal drum­ming work­shops will also be on of­fer.

Lo­cal groups will also be tak­ing part on the day, in­clud­ing the Castlemilk Eco-Con­gre­ga­tion and the Castlemilk Youth Com­plex.
