The grass isn’t always greener

Rutherglen Reformer - - Reformer View -

This is my so-called back garden, that the West of Scotland Housing Association has been trying to fix for two years.

I live in new build in Fernhill and thought up until recently I was the only one having problems with very poor drainage and so called turf.

However, I have found out there is a lot more like me having problems even going back to first phase of houses that was built, not only this but people are having problems with gas boilers and floors that creak really bad.

I found out on the Fernhill Facebook page that I was not alone. All these problems Councillor Robert Brown has been helping us out with, in our battle with the West of Scotland.

This assocation have been the most difficult housing I have ever dealt with in my life, they drag every complaint out for months and in my case years.

Hopefully next year I will have a back garden I can go into without Wellington boots. DON (Name and address supplied)
