Glen­cairn .............. 3 May­bole................ 1 Glens moved up to fourth place in the league ta­ble with this hard-fought win over May­bole.

There were two changes to the start­ing line-up from last week’s de­feat to Cum­ber­nauld, with David Dun­nachie re­plac­ing Mark Bishop in cen­tral de­fence, and new sign­ing Jonathan Boal com­ing in at left back in place of winger Kris Irvine.

The vis­i­tors started brightly and Mark Ar­mour shot nar­rowly wide be­fore Hutchi­son had to race from his goal to thwart Par­ris.

There was a blow for Glens when Del Es­plin had to be with­drawn due to ill­ness, he was re­placed by Kris Irvine.

Glens set­tled into the game but Hutchi­son had to parry Par­ris’s lobbed ef­fort. At the other end, Kil­martin glanced just wide.

May­bole again started brightly in the sec­ond pe­riod, but it was the home side who took the lead on 54 min­utes. Don­aghy’s free-kick evaded ev­ery­one and nes­tled in the back of the net.
