Rotary seek help

Rutherglen Rotary Club is seeking the help of Reformer readers who are keen gardeners.

Members of the Rotary Club are planning a plant fayre at the Abbeyfield House complex on Stonelaw Drive, Rutherglen, on Thursday, May 23, in aid of Abbeyfield and other local charities, and hope green-fingered readers will donate bedding plants or other garden shrubs to make this a real winner for everyone. It will run, approximately, from 10am till 2pm.

Rotary Club president Ian Wilson said: “We know there are people who just love growing plants and if extra items can be sold to others then these funds can provide support for local good causes. This is a win -win situation for everyone in our community.”
