Rutherglen Reformer - - News -

The Cambuslang Bereavement Support Group is on hand to support local people grieving after the loss of a loved one.

The group is available on the first and third Wednesdays of each month in the Morriston Room of Cambuslang Parish Church, Arnott Way, Cambuslang from 10am until noon.

The service is open to both church-goers and nonchurch people alike.

A spokesman said: “If you have recently, or in the past, been bereaved, and think it would be helpful to speak to someone, we are there to listen and offer confidential support, over a cup of tea or coffee.

“No appointment is necessary.”

They are now able to provide a telephone service on the Tuesday evenings, preceding the Wednesday meetings.

By calling the Cambuslang Parish Church office on 642 9271, those looking to speak with someone can leave a contact number.

They will receive a return call on the Tuesday evening from one of the support group’s volunteers, between 7pm-9pm.
