Have you seen Tabby?

Rutherglen Reformer - - Intimations -

A group of people are appealing for information after their beloved cat went missing in Cathkin.

Jill Ritchie, from Hamilton, contacted the Reformer after Tabby the cat got out of his carrier at Taylor Vets in East Kilbride Road. Although the cat stays with Jill’s neighbour, he is seen as a pet for all the street as residents would often feed him when he was a stray.

Jill said:“We all got fond of him and I renamed him Abby but it turned out he was a boy so decided on Tabby.

“We had him neutered, vaccinated, checked for disease, etc and my neighbour gave him a home which he was really happy to settle into. I was responsible for taking him to and from vets for his treatments and on April 23 it was his last set of vaccinations at Taylor vets.

“Unfortunately he got out of his carrier after his treatment in the car park and ran off.”

Although there has been a few sightings in Cambuslang, Tabby is still missing.

Anyone with information can contact Jill on 07787726005or on 01698 322925, or email jillrichie@btinternet.com.
