Hoover looked set to end its 55 year as­so­ci­a­tion with Cam­bus­lang af­ter an­nounc­ing it was to begin a for­mal con­sul­ta­tion with work­ers over man­u­fac­tur­ing op­er­a­tions mov­ing to China.
