Calderwood Primary School is getting ready to hold its popular summer fair.

This year’s event will take place at the school, on Buchanan Drive, on Saturday, June 6, from 10am until 2pm, for lots of summer fun in store.

There will be activities for the whole family including face painting, hook a duck, guessing the number of balloons in Mrs Quinn’s car, to art and crafts and a bouncy castle.

A spokesman added: “When you’ve tired yourself out with all that come to the cafe for a treat including delicious strawberries and cream. There will be lots of stalls selling gitfts, jewellery, candles, hair accessories, baking and much more.

“Our summer fair would not be complete without our fabulous tombola, incredible raffle and delicious home baking stalls. This event supports the great work of Calderwood Primary School so please bring family and friends and neighbours.

“Let’s hope for sunshine!”
