Rutherglen MSP James Kelly recently addressed the Rutherglen Seniors Forum.

There, the Labour representative discussed his work and campaigns in the constituency and touched on his work in the Scottish Parliament.

Rutherglen Seniors Forum promotes the rights and welfare of local seniors, and works to raise awareness of issues affecting older people.

James said: “I was delighted to speak at the Rutherglen Senior Forum, and would like to thank Tom Armstrong and the group for taking the time to have a chat with me.

“It is always a pleasure to get out and about around local community groups to discuss the work I’m doing to stand up for the people of Rutherglen and Cambuslang.

“The forum plays an important role in our area and is a great way for elderly residents to remain active and ensure their voice is heard at both a local and national level.”

Tom Armstrong said: “We would like to thank James for coming along and speaking with our members. James is a good friend of the Rutherglen Seniors Forum and we thank him for his support.”
