Anne is an all round worker within the com­mu­nity. Although a quiet per­son, Anne has worked tire­lessly as a fos­ter­ing per­son over many years bring­ing about many changes and cov­er­ing emer­gency and short term needs within the old Glas­gow area be­fore re­tir­ing. This cov­ered a pe­riod of over 12 years.

She was also a vol­un­teer at Yorkhill Hos­pi­tal un­til a heart attack and a by­pass in 2003.

Anne is a com­mit­tee mem­ber for Cen­tral Cam­bus­lang Ten­ants’and Res­i­dents’As­so­ci­a­tion, and has been trea­surer for the last seven years. Anne has been in­volved in fundrais­ing in the Cam­bus­lang area for the Kil­bryde Hospice.
