Skoda in space race
Czech manufacturer Skoda has lifted the wraps on it new Superb Estate model — just months after the debut of its hatchback stablemate.
And the brand claims it will have the largest interior space and luggage compartment in its sector.
There will also be more head, knee and elbow room than before plus a bigger boot which, with the rear seats folded, results in an impressive 1,950 litres.
New assistance systems for increased safety, eco-friendliness and comfort are a hallmark of the Superb which, like the hatchback, features Dynamic Chassis Control.
The company’s new EU6 engines offer both more power and are up to 30 per cent more efficient than before.
The car makes its public debut at this autumn’s Frankfurt Motor Show. Orders open next month.
