New chapter in pupils’ lives

Rutherglen Reformer - - News -

Burgh Primary pupils were fully booked recently as they penned their very own novel.

Primary three pupils of the school created their own adventure book about aliens, which was unveiled at Rutherglen Library earlier this month.

Class teacher Carolyn Alexander said:“They worked really hard to compose their own stories about an adventure with some aliens.

“The Rutherglen Library kindly offered to host the launch of the children’s first books.

“Some of the children read their stories in front of an audience which included their parents and some children from Glenburgh Nursery.”
