Pud­sey Bear paid a visit to Ruther­glen Main Street last month.

The pop­u­lar Chil­dren in Need mas­cot was help­ing staff at the Bank of Scot­land branch raise money at their Ready, Teddy, Bake event.

Cakes and other treats were on sale to cus­tomers and passers-by.

Pud­sey was there to give treats out to chil­dren.

The branch raised £137 on the day, with the bank match­ing it, bring­ing the to­tal do­na­tion to £274.

A branch spokesper­son said: “It was a bril­liant day.”
