Tal­ent on show at the craft cafè

King’s Park Church mem­bers have shown they’re a group of witty lit­tle knit­ters.

Af­ter start­ing last June, mem­bers of the con­gre­ga­tion have been go­ing along on Mon­day af­ter­noons, to take part in the craft café, which runs at the church, on Castlemilk Road, from 1.30–3.30pm each week.

The group have been get­ting cre­ative to help peo­ple in Africa, by cre­at­ing blan­kets which they are get­ting ready to send over.

Min­is­ter San­dra Boyd said: “Our craft café on a Mon­day af­ter­noon have been knit­ting and cro­chet­ing to send with one of their mem­bers to Jinga in Uganda.

“She is go­ing out for two weeks to help paint the school and send­ing the best wishes of King’s Park Church.”
