Talent on show at the craft cafè
King’s Park Church members have shown they’re a group of witty little knitters.
After starting last June, members of the congregation have been going along on Monday afternoons, to take part in the craft café, which runs at the church, on Castlemilk Road, from 1.30–3.30pm each week.
The group have been getting creative to help people in Africa, by creating blankets which they are getting ready to send over.
Minister Sandra Boyd said: “Our craft café on a Monday afternoon have been knitting and crocheting to send with one of their members to Jinga in Uganda.
“She is going out for two weeks to help paint the school and sending the best wishes of King’s Park Church.”
