School’s skiing success!
Cathkin pupil Christopher McLew recently achieved four top 10 places in the Anglo Scots Championships .
The S2 pupil took one top five and a fourth place medal at the British Ski Academy Slalom Championships, in the Les Houches World Cup downhill piste in France.
This success was followed by competing in the English Alpine Championships in Bormio in which, despite tough competition, Christopher achieved a fifth place finish for Super G, two seventh place finishes for Super G and slalom, and two 12th place finishes for GS. He has also reduced his seed points, and will now be ranked between top five and top 10 in the UK for the three different disciplines.
Christopher also competed in the final alpine race of the season, the British Children’s Championships, held in Tignes.
