Goal­keep­ers are be­ing of­fered the chance to train like the pro­fes­sion­als in a two day sum­mer goal­keep­ing camp. The course will be in­structed by SPFL and SFA per­for­mance school goal­keep­ing coach.

All stan­dards welcome, ages seven- to 16-years-old. More de­tails can be ob­tained by call­ing 0773 892 3403 or email save­handsgk@gmail.com. Latest win­ning num­bers from the Clyde FC Sup­port­ers Trust lottery draw are 7, 10, 12 and 19.

There was no jack­pot win­ner and nine shared the £250 sec­ond prize. The June 24 jack­pot to­tal now in­creases to £8750. An ap­peal for Ruther­glen and Cam­bus­lang foot­ballers aged over 35 to get their boots on is be­ing made.

A group of play­ers is wanted to take part in fun games each Fri­day evening, at the Lifestyle sports cen­tre in East­field.

A spokesman for the or­gain­sers said: “Sum­mer’s here - it’s time to get your boots out and get back into football.

“Fives are great fun, great ex­er­cise and a great way to meet new friends and get fit. Ev­ery­one welcome, no mat­ter your abil­ity. Just turn up on the night.”

The games are played on Fri­days from 6-7pm.

The cost is £2.50 for the game or £5, in­clud­ing a swim and sauna.
