Rock ‘n’ Roll tour draws to a close

-

Guns n’ Roses, Queen or Led Zeppelin had nothing on Burgh Primary School as the Upper School polished off their rock music topic with a concert before the end of term.

Although the Rock n’ Roll topic was completed by the Upper School, the whole school took part in the concert. Demand outstripped ticket sales so the school had to put on a second show for parents.

Each class performed two tracks, ranging from ‘We are the Champions’ to ‘Living on a Prayer’.

The children designed logos for the concert and Sarah Niven’s won (P5).

She had her logo printed on the tickets and onto t-shirts which were sold to raise school funds.
