Man accused of selling fakes
A man from Croftfoot has appeared in court accused of selling counterfeit DVDs and CDs.
James Mark Freer, from Crofthill Road, appeared yesterday (Tuesday, July 7).
Between March 4, 2012, and April 26, 2014, at a market stall at the Barras on Moncor Street, the 31-year-old is accused of having in his possession a quantity of DVDs and CDs which he allegedly knew were infringing on the copyrights of a work.
Between the same dates he is also accused of offering to sell the CDs and DVDs.
Freer pleaded not guilty and was ordained to reappear on July 28.
