Three teenagers face trial at Glasgow Sheriff Court
Three Castlemilk teenagers were due to appear in court on Monday (July 13) on several charges.
James Boyd (16) of Westfarm Crescent, Dean Forsyth (17) of Croftfoot Street and Liam Rae (18) of Stravanan Gardens were due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
On January 23, 2014, on Boyd Street in Glasgow, Boyd is accused of assaulting a 14-year-old by punching and kicking him on the body, seizing him by the body, causing him to fall to the ground and repeatedly stamping on his head.
On March 22, 2014, Boyd is accused of assaulting a member of staff in the Asda on Prospecthill Road by brandishing a bottle at them.
On March 22, 2014, Boyd, Forsyth and Rae are accused of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner by shouting and swearing at members of staff and challenging them to fight.
Boyd failed to appear at court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Forsyth submitted a plea of not guilty via a solicitor and is due to appear for trial this Friday (July 17). Bail was continued.
Rae was present at court and pleaded not guilty. He was ordained to reappear for trail on July 17.
